SEEM Collaborative's Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students is seeking to fill the position of Special Education Teacher/Teacher of the Deaf for its Extended Year, Summer program.

The preferred candidate will possess certification as a Special Education teacher and/or Teacher of the Deaf and have some beginner to proficient level sign language skills.

Students served range from preschool age through first grade. Experience in working with students who have special needs, in addition to hearing loss, is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to lift, pull or push approximately 40 lbs. Must be able to move quickly from standing to floor and floor to standing.

Employment is contingent upon a positive SAFIS Fingerprint and CORI report.
