SEEM Collaborative seeks to hire a per-diem reading tutor: Wilson certified or Orton Gillingham

 

Responsibilities:

 

• provide skills based reading and literacy instruction to students in grades 5-8
• work with small group of students using skills based program-such as Wilson
• collaborate with teachers, and families regarding student progress and growth
• Per diem daily schedule

Qualifications:

• Reading certification such as Wilson Certification or Orton Gillingham

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

 

Employment is contingent upon a positive background check including CORI and fingerprinting.

SEEM Collaborative Tutoring Services is seeking to hire a per diem Reading  specialist to provide tutoring for grades K-12 for up to 6 hours per week. They will provide an individualized approach and tailor instruction to each student, through direct instruction. Tutors will consult and collaborate with guidance counselors, classroom teachers and other school personnel to ensure student success. Tutors must be DESE certified in Reading.

 

This is  a per diem position
